I just finished my LO for the dreamgirls Challenge blog. I found out about their blog through LG. Thanks LG!
They're on to Challenge #33 already and for this, they require the following elements to be present: Wings, Paint & Glitter! Do check out their blog for the details: http://dreamgirlschallengeblog.blogspot.com/2009/08/challenge-33-on-wings-of-love.html
So here's my take:
This is a grunge board butterfly which I embossed using the cuttlebug, painted, sanded and sprayed glimmer mist on. The green butterflies were stamps from hero arts.
The flower beside the ribbon is a fabric flower which I splattered with stickles for an added shine. The scrolls on the right is actually a Prima clear IOD and the flowers/leaf on the left was hand cut from a patterened paper and I just doodled on the leaf and the flower centers. I also stamped different butterflies around it.
Then I put lots of flowers and the biggest one is actually made of scrap papers which I cut into circles, crumpled and put gesso on the side.
Materials used: Prima My mommy and me paper, prima flowers, Prima IOD, grungeboard, Kaiser paint, glimmer mist, Hero arts butterfly stamps, versamagic ink, craft express chipboard (trip), all about scrapbooking foam letters (road) and fabric flower, ranger stickles, Marvy U pen.
What a super fun page! Love everything. I'll have to check out Dream Girls--I can't get enough challenges!
