Scrapbook Room Re-organization

I was on leave this Monday and I decided to finally spend the day cleaning our bedroom and my SB room. Did a lot of re-organizing because of the additional stuffs I recently hoarded and it’s actually been a year since we moved in so purging is necessary. And I also bought a mini sewing machine last Aug 17. I don’t want to be piercing holes for my stitch work anymore.

Presenting my new room…

Here’s my crowded desk and my mac. :)
This is the opposite side of the desk. The drawers contain more punches, papers, albums and scraps and on top of that are my tools. The closet beside it contain my clothes but on top of that are my magazines, folders and binders that contain my stamp reference and scrapbooking articles I print out.

This is the window side of the room. The big black rack contain chipboards, mini albums, journalling cards, mini CS, 8x8 papers, my printer, photo albums, etc. Next to is a rack for my paper packs and on the far end is my moveable stamp goods. And in the middle of the room is my moveable table where I normally work. I adhered my craft mat there and the MM cutter is right beside it.

Here are my papers which I have arranged by color. It took me around 3 hours to finish this but it was all worth it. Been spending a lot time choosing papers because they’re here and there. I kept my paper packs, handmade papers, foam packs in these four-tiered paper rack.

And here are the contents of my desk which I have meticulously segregated and arranged. All my stickers, alphas and embellies were all stashed together. I decided to insert them into folder sleeves and I removed all of the packaging (it’s takes time to remove it from it and put it back after scrapping – this should make it easier to choose and clean it up). I should arrange them next by theme (but I doubt I’d have more time hihi).

These are my pens, basics tote (which I normally bring to workshops), flowers, buttons and of course my handy wipes and a little bit of this and that on that brown wood container.

These on top are the lightweight stuff. Mostly ribbons (5 boxes I think), tags (not sure what I’m gonna do with one whole box of tags), local flowers, fabric embellies, foam shapes, and more!

These last two pictures are my roll-a-cart which I love because these are my stamping, art goodies! They have all my favorites! On top of the white one are my stamp pads, perfect pearls, chalks, stamp cleaners, etc. The second tier contains my stamps organized in CD cases and labeled (I placed a picture of the stamp reference binder beside it). I just placed on top of that my alcohol inks and stickles container and behind it are my masks (love Tim Holtz and Heidi Swapp Masks!). And at the bottom are the large stamps, acrylic blocks, roller and grungeboard.

The black cart contains my cuttlebug folders on top which I have arranged in 6x6 page protectors (which I’ve had for the longest time but didn’t know what to use it for because I don’t scrap 6x6 pages). I embossed the white sleeves inside with the design and placed inside it the folder. My next altered project will definitely be the cover for these. I will probably need to create three binders for these because they’re too thick to fit into just two. I planned on buying the cuttlebug organizer but thought otherwise when I saw how many I had, it will probably be too costly coz of the sleeves I need to buy. The next 2 tiers contain paint dabbers, crackle paint, MM and Kaiser paint and the metal box is a TH cropper hopper embosssing powder container where i store all my ranger embossing powders.

So, wouldn’t you say I got too busy? Heehee. Hope you enjoyed looking as much as I enjoyed documenting it!
